Using Linux from Windows

  • Double Click icon for the X Server on the desktop

  • Open PuTTY
  • Enter the computer to connect to in the Host Name (or IP Address) Box

  • Select Connection --> SSH --> X11
  • Check the box to enable X11 forwarding
  • Click Open
