The Universe - Near and Far

by
Nick Herrick and Brandi Fausett

There Are Some Things That Go Bang in The Dark!
From a massive explosion to a yellow submarine, from the Northern hemisphere to the Southern stars, see the Universe - Near and Far, in this multimedia ear-busting, nausea-inducing trip through the cosmos in a quick creation of the Universe.

Not recommended for those prone to motion sickness or sensitivities to loud noises or rapidly flashing lights.

The shows start promptly at 7 and 8 pm.
Tickets are $2 and will be on sale at the door from 6:30 to 7 PM and again from 7:50 to 8 PM.

There is no food or drink allowed in the planetarium.
Because it gets very dark in the planetarium, the shows may not be appropriate for some young children.

Click here for more info about the BYU Planetarium, or if you have questions about the planetarium that are unrelated to the Friday night shows. The Astronomical Society does not schedule outreach shows. Visit the main Planetarium page for more information about outreach shows.

The Planetarium is located in room 465 on the 4th floor of the Eyring Science Center on BYU Campus in Provo, Utah.
