About the Society
The BYU Astronomical Society is a student-run organization under the
direction of the Department of
Physics and Astronomy.
Meetings
During Winter Semester 2008, the club will meet the first Friday of each month at 6 PM in N485 ESC (the Astronomy Library), just before the Planetarium shows.
Additional meetings will take place on clear nights only, for the other Fridays of the month (meet on the observation deck).

There will be a meeting at 6 pm to discuss future officers
and the direction that the students want the club to take. The meeting
will be in the Astronomy Library (room N485 ESC).

Planetarium Shows
Weekly planetarium shows will be held most Friday nights at
7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Tickets are $2 at the door, and go on sale
at 6:30 PM. After the shows, the observation deck on the roof
will be open, weather permitting. Click here

Planetarium is located in room 465 on the
4th floor of the Eyring Science Center on BYU Campus in Provo,

The Astronomical Society is not in charge of scheduling outreach

Membership is open to anyone. Dues are currently $5.00 per
semester or $10.00 per calendar year, beginning each Fall Semester.
